Dangerous activities like Caving, Rock-Climbing, White-Water Rafting and Waterfall Abseiling can be very dangerous. The minimal risk here is a fracture and the maximum risk is DEATH. This activities can be fun and exciting but safety measures should be observe so that it will be fun yet safe. I have participated in all this activities and have made it out safe. This is because I respect the safety measure impose on these activities. For example, Waterfall Abseiling. This activities is the same as Abseiling down a four storey building but this time you are abseiling down a waterfall. Safety issues arouse when I first heard of it as the flooring is slippery, sharp rocks around and many more. Before the abseil, we were brief of the things we have to take note of. The main problem here is vision. You will have difficulties seeing on what you are stepping as gallons and gallons of water falls on you at speeds of up to 80km/h or more. As I got to the starting point, I already face my first challenge. The palce was infested with algae and this made walking very difficult. After facing so many difficulties, I made down safe. It will definately be fun if you pay close attention to the safety rules that has been implaced.
